Bill Expands Access To Gold Star Plates

A bill passed by the NH House yesterday to expand access to Gold Star license plates in New Hampshire is headed to the Senate.

Currently the plates are only available to mothers of members of the U.S. military killed while on duty.

The bill would make the plates available to fathers, stepfathers and other immediate family.

Supporters said families should be recognized for their sacrifice.
