Bill Introduced Involving Background Checks for Gun Buys
A new bill has been introduced in the state legislature involving background checks for gun purchases.
The measure would require that some mental health information be reported to the federal background check system.
The legislation was crafted following a fatal shooting at New Hampshire Hospital earlier this year by a man who was previously a patient there.
The bill is named after Bradley Haas, the security guard who lost his life in the line of duty.
