Bill Targets Illegal Online Drug Sales

Senator Jeanne Shaheen is cosponsor of a bipartisan bill to crack down on illegal online drug sales.

The legislation passed by the Senate Judiciary Committee would require social media companies to report illicit fentanyl, methamphetamine and other drug-related activity to law enforcement.

Shaheen said fentanyl is fueling the substance use disorder crisis impacting New Hampshire and the nation.

She’s urging the full Senate to pass the bill.
