Bill To Double Turnpike Tolls Is Put On Hold

A bill that’d double turnpike tolls for drivers who don’t have a New Hampshire EZPass is on hold.

Yesterday, a NH state House of Representatives Committee  in Concord voted to recommend sending the bill for further study.

If it ends up being adopted, it’d mean the effort to get this legislation passed would start over again next year.

Supporters believe the bill would be a good way to generate needed revenue for the state.
