The Concord Board of Education is approving a new budget plan that includes job cuts.
The 124-million-dollar fiscal plan will eliminate 38 positions and also raises property taxes for homeowners by over 12-percent.
Increases to athletics fees are still being discussed, but potential changes to the arts program are being avoided by having one teacher split time between two schools.
The district is currently working to close an 17-million-dollar budget deficit.
