Bobhouse Fell Through Ice on Lake Winnipesaukee

An ice fishing hut known as a bobhouse fell through the ice on Lake Winnipesaukee Wednesday.

It happened off Leeward Shore Road on Long Island in Moultonborough.

Channel 9 reported first responders said it didn’t appear there was anyone in the house at the time.

Authorities said it’s a stark reminder that extreme caution is warranted when going out on ice.
