Body Recovered from Piscataqua River

The body of a man was recovered from the Piscataqua River in Newington Friday.

Local officers and state troopers responded to the scene in the vicinity of Fox Point Road and Windswept Way around 5pm.

Authorities are investigating, however, according to State Police evidence indicates the death is not suspicious, and there’s no threat to public safety.
