Bourque Family Foundation Holds Fundraiser for Injured High School Hockey Players
Boston Bruins great Ray Bourque is helping two Massachusetts hockey players injured on the ice.
Bourque held a fundraiser for A.J. Quetta and Jake Thibeault through this foundation’s annual road race over the weekend.
On ‘Good Morning NH’ said he told Jack Heath more than 600 people took part in the event.
“We were able to give A.J. a check for $10,000 dollars and Jake a check for $14,000 dollars to help with their recovery”, Bourque said.
When asked by Jack if he still feels a connection to the Boston he said, “i’ve been here for 42 years. It’s home, I will never leave Boston. But, I might become a snowbird in the winter months.”
