Brand New Facility to Help UNH with Ocean Mapping Research

Plans are in the works to build a new facility that’s going to help the University of New Hampshire with its ocean mapping research.

The price tag for the building is 20-million dollars and it’ll be off the West Edge parking lot on the Durham campus.

UNH is also partnering with the Center of Excellence for Operational Ocean and Great Lakes Mapping, which will assist with training.

The hope is that ground will be broken on the facility by next year.
