Brush Fires Continue to Break Out

No one was hurt after a brush fire broke out near a homeless encampment in Concord last night. The Concord Fire Department said crews responded to the brush fire near Old Loudon Road and Portsmouth Street on Monday night. Concord fire said the brush fire was likely started by an old propane tank that was left in the woods near the homeless encampment.

Firefighters were on the scene of a brush fire in Brentwood earlier today that broke out last night. The fire started on the Brentwood/Exeter line in the area of Route 111A and Pine Road. No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported. Crews from 12 communities, including York, Maine, were called to assist with firefighting efforts.
