Civics Test Bill Tabled By NH Senate

The New Hampshire Senate has tabled a House bill that would require passing a U.S. civics test as a requirement to graduate from the state university or community college system.

It faces bipartisan opposition.

Critics said it would add cost at a time when the higher education system is working through budget cuts.

They also argued that college students should be focused on their field of study.
