Classroom Ceiling Collapses in NH School

Fire officials in Wolfeboro credit quick thinking by teachers and school staffers for saving students from being hurt when a ceiling collapsed in a classroom.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon at Carpenter School in Wolfeboro.

Firefighters were called when a ceiling in a classroom at the school started sagging.

Shortly after crews arrived, the ceiling collapsed. Students and staff had already been evacuated before the collapse.
