Cleanup Still Underway Following Severe Storm in Milford

Cleanup efforts are still underway nearly two weeks after a severe storm moved through Milford.

The National Weather Service says a microburst impacted that community July 17th, knocking down trees and leaving homes uninhabitable.

The microburst had winds of up to 95 miles per hour and left a path of destruction that was more than half a mile long.

Its recommended homeowners take a close look at their insurance policies, so they know what expenses are covered.
