Coalition Urges Online Protection for Children
New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella is part of a bipartisan coalition of 43 attorneys general urging strengthened online protections for children.
The AGs want the Federal Trade Commission to update rules that technology companies must follow under the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
The rules haven’t been updated in over a decade.
Formella said the Internet poses serious dangers for children that have only grown as people spend more time online.
