Combatting Elder Abuse in NH

Three new positions are being added to the Attorney General’s Elder Abuse and Financial Exploitation Unit.

It investigates and prosecutes abuse, neglect and financial crimes against New Hampshire residents who are 60 and older.

Attorney General John Formella said that since it was established, the unit has successfully prosecuted lawyers, financial advisors, caregivers and others who have taken advantage of older people.
