Concord Man Killed in Saturday Morning Accident

Police identified a 34-year-old Concord man as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash that took place early Saturday morning.

Concord police responded to a portion of Mountain Road around 2:45 a.m. on Saturday after a passerby came across a motorcycle in the roadway with the operator, Christopher Aquizap, several feet ahead lying on the ground, said Police Deputy Chief John Thomas.

A toxicology report is pending but at this time, police do not believe drugs or alcohol were a contributing factor to the crash.
