Construction Of A Sound Wall Is Now Underway

The NH state Department of Transportation says construction on a new sound wall is underway on Interstate 95 in Portsmouth.

The project will add a barrier on the southbound side of the highway and a privacy fence along northbound I-95 adjacent to the New Franklin School.

Crews will be out in that area over the next few weeks during the hours of seven a-m and seven p-m.

Construction is expected to be finished this fall.
