Crews Make Third Trip in Three Days to Douse Fire Near Concord Homeless Camp
Fire officials in Concord say crews were called to a blaze Saturday at a homeless camp underneath the Interstate 393 bridge for the third time in 48 hours.
The incendiary hat trick was achieved around 6 p.m. when firefighters were dispatched to an area near the interstate and The Friendly Kitchen on a report of smoke in the area.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze within 15 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
Officials say firefighters had been called to the same area twice on Thursday night.
