Deadline for Potential Laconia State School Developer

The Executive Council was told the potential developer for the former Laconia State School now has an April 21st deadline to close on the property or lose a $200,000 deposit.

Legacy at Laconia LLC signed a purchase and sales agreement over 15 months ago but has delayed the closing several times.

Indepthnh.org reported Governor Chris Sununu said if the deadline is not met, the state will make a request for proposals from other developers.
