Deadly Drug Overdoses Rising in NH

The deadly drug overdose rate in New Hampshire is rising faster than the rest of the country.

The state medical examiner’s office said 486 people died in 2022, that’s a 14% increase over the previous year.

Channel 9 reported Preliminary national data indicates the overdose death rate last year in the U.S. rose about half-a-percent.
