DHHS Announces Ice Cream Recall

The state Department of Health and Human Services has announced a recall of certain Wilcox Ice Cream flavors.

There are concerns that nine flavors of the product, including sweet cream caramel apple, premium vanilla, premium maple cream, and premium mint chocolate chip could be contaminated with listeria.

So far, there have been no illnesses reported but anyone who does get sick can be treated with antibiotics.

Folks who have purchased these products should throw them out.
