Dirt Biker Injured In Tuftonboro

A 20-year-old New Hampshire man is expected to recover from non-life-threatening injuries suffered in a dirt bike crash Saturday afternoon in Tuftonboro.

Fish and Game  said Matthew Burch of Barrington jumped off the bike in midair when the throttle got stuck during a jump at a private track.

Authorities said he escaped more serious injuries because he was wearing the proper protective equipment.
