Dover Trial Date Set for Former County Sheriff Brave
A trial date has now been set for former Strafford County Sheriff Mark Brave.
Jury selection in his case is scheduled to begin on August 5th after he failed to reach a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Brave is accused of stealing $19,000 in taxpayer money, falsifying evidence and perjury.
Brave decided to step down from his job last December and has denied any wrongdoing.
He made history back in 2020 by being elected to serve as New Hampshire’s first African-American sheriff.
