Downtown Concord Altercation Sends Two People to the Hospital

Depot Street was closed for several hours early Sunday morning while police investigated an altercation that sent two to the hospital.

Concord police responded to the area at 12:45 a.m. and when officers arrived, they located two individuals who had sustained injuries, which were not life threatening.

Depot Street and the sidewalk in front of WOW Billiard & Bar on North Main Street were closed for several hours while detectives worked to collect evidence.

Police have identified some of the individuals involved and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
