Driver Cited For Collision With Police Cruiser

A 37-year-old Belmont man is cited for negligent driving, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, inspection and obedience to a police officer.

It’s in connection with a crash involving a Laconia police cruiser at an intersection in Belmont around eight o’clock last Saturday night.

Police said Christopher Truett was at the wheel of a pickup truck that hit the cruiser at an unrelated crash scene.

There were no reported injuries.
