Early Ice Out Declared on Lake Winnipesaukee

‘Ice Out’ was declared on Lake Winnipesaukee late Sunday afternoon.

According to Emerson Aviation it’s the earliest ‘Ice Out’ in recorded history.

It usually happens in late April according to observers. No ice means the M/S Mount Washington could sail to all of its ports of call around the lake.
