Eversource Crews to Help Restore Power in the South

Eversource line crews from New Hampshire, Connecticut and Massachusetts are headed south to help with power restoration associated with Hurricane Helene.

Local fire officials say 40 mainline crew members and 20 support personnel have been tasked with assisting their Appalachian Power counterparts.

The Manchester firefighters reportedly will be working to restore power to more than 180,000 utility customers in Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky.
