Fatal Crash In Alton

One person has died after a head-on crash on Route 11 in Alton earlier this morning.

The crash happened around 6:30 this morning near Heron Point Road. According to police, two vehicles were involved.

The identity of the victim has not been released.

The driver of the other vehicle was injured but police do not believe the injuries are life-threatening.
