Fatal Fire In Claremont

One person is dead after a fire at a mobile home early this morning in Claremont.

Fire officials said they received multiple 911 calls earlier today that a home on Stewart Avenue was on fire.

After the fire was extinguished, the body of a woman was found inside the home. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending an autopsy scheduled for tomorrow.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
