Federal Funding Coming to Help Make Seawall Repairs
Millions of dollars in federal funding will be coming to New Hampshire to help make repairs in the Seacoast region.
Thousands of feet of seawall in that area has suffered severe damage from weather over the last several months.
The seawall was built back in 1978 and if fixes aren’t completed, it may lead to even more sidewalk and road problems.
The state Department of Transportation says the seawall will be repaired between North Hampton and Rye, but construction won’t be done until 2027.
