Federal Funding For Broadband Expansion In NH

New Hampshire is getting over 18-million-dollars in federal funding for its  broadband expansion program.

The goal is to connect more Granite Staters to reliable, high-speed Internet.

Governor Kelly Ayotte said expanding broadband will help keep communities safe, grow the economy and improve access to health care in rural areas.

The money was awarded by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
