Fires In NH and Maine

No injuries have been reported after a three-alarm fire damaged a home in Hillsborough County.  The blaze started yesterday at a residence on Old Milford Road in Brookline.  Crews from several surrounding communities had to be called in to help get the smoke and flames under control. The cause of the fire is still under investigation but it likely started in the area of a wood stove.

An investigation is underway into what caused a fire that damaged two businesses in Ogunquit Maine.  The blaze began Saturday night on Perkins Cove Road and affected Uniques and Antiques and the Oarweed Restaurant.  One firefighter suffered a minor injury but no one else was hurt.  The Uniques and Antiques owner says he is not sure if there will be a rebuild, but Oarweed Restaurant is planning to be open again in 2025.Fire
