Fires in Raymond and Rye Overnight

Three people were taken to a Seacoast hospital after a fire broke out early this  morning in Rye.

The fire started at a home on Ocean Boulevard.

The home was under construction at the time and windy conditions caused the flames to spread to an adjacent house next door. Three adults in that home were taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. No word on their conditions.

One person is dead after a mobile home caught fire in Raymond.

The Raymond Fire Department said they responded last night to 13 Hummingbird Lane for a report of a mobile home on fire.

Authorities said one person and a dog were later pronounced dead at the scene.

Raymond Fire said the mobile home is a total loss.

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal is on scene to investigate. Officials did not say how the fire started.
