Fish and Game Commissioner Resigns Amid Controversy
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Commissioner is resigning amid controversy over comments made to fellow staff members.
Susan Price announced she was leaving the post this week, a day before a hearing was to take place over alleged threats she made about department staffing.
Price is accused of telling the director of human resources that if she became the interim director of the agency she would fire another official and his administrative assistant, who’s also his wife.
Price resigned after protesting recent actions taken by the commission to suspend her, saying she was not allowed to present evidence of her innocence before the board.
She has denied making the comments.
