‘Follow Me’: Dog Leads Police To Owner’s Car Crash
German shepherd named Tinsley successfully led New Hampshire state police to the site of its owner’s rollover crash.
State Police Lt. Daniel Baldassarre told Jack Heath at first the officers thought the young dog was lost.
But thanks to the persistence of the dog, law enforcement was able to get medical assistance to two people, who had suffered serious injuries.
“It’s hard to say what would have happened, it was cold, wet snow, the outcome could have been much different,” Baldassarre said on Good Morning NH.
He said officers knew the dog wanted to show them something because it kept trying to get away, but not entirely, as if saying: “Follow me.”
