Former Lead Prosecutor Takes Stand in Murder Trial

The trial of the man accused of murdering a Concord couple resumes this week.

Logan Clegg is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting deaths of Stephen and Wendy Reid in April of last year.

Tuesday, the former Senior Assistant Attorney General and original lead prosecutor in the case Geoffrey Ward took the stand.

Ward testified that he found shell casings in the bushes while defense attorneys questioned how they were not found during the initial search of the crime scene.
