A man wanted on multiple warrants is in custody following a pursuit that started around midnight in Strafford. Police said he abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot prompting a search in the Route 202-A/Strafford Road area. The man was apprehended this morning around 9 a.m.
Three people with active warrants are charged with resisting arrest as the result of a standoff yesterday morning in Manchester. Police went to a residence on Merrimack Street and the trio initially refused to come out of the house. Eventually 38-year-old Sara Loveren and 52-year-old Chesley Wohren surrendered. Once a K9 was deployed, 45-year-old Gordon Keith was also taken into custody.
An 18-year-old Brockton, Massachusetts, woman is facing multiple charges after being clocked traveling over 120 miles per hour on a motorcycle. She was first spotted around 8:30 Wednesday morning headed north on I-93 in Ashland. After attempts to stop her, Julianna Gobbi was eventually taken into custody by state troopers after being seen at a gas station in Campton. She’s due in court next month on charges including reckless driving and disobeying a police officer.
