Governor Sununu Makes Headlines At Gridiron Dinner, “It Was All In Good Fun”

Governor Chris Sununu stole the show this weekend at the annual Gridiron Club dinner joking about Former President Trump.

At the high-end event Sununu said in part, “The press often will ask me if I think Donald Trump is crazy. And I’ll say it this way: I don’t think he’s so crazy that you could put him in a mental institution. But I think if he were in one, he ain’t getting out!”

It didnt’ stop there, the Governor calling him ‘*-ing’ crazy.

Sununu tried to dismiss his comments on Good Morning New Hampshire saying, “it was all in good fun.  It was a room full of 700 adults.  People need to stop taking everything so seriously.  People looking from the outside in need to lighten up”.

Jack Heath told the Governor he stole the show, Sununu responded with, “being the funniest guy in Washington is like being the best surfer in Kansas”.

A spokesperson for the Trump campaign called the comments unfortunate.
