Hampton Falls Developing Plan After Exeter Hospital Paramedic Cuts
Fire Chief Jay Lord and chiefs from area departments are taking steps to fill the void created by the termination of the advanced life support paramedic intercept service provided by Exeter Hospital to area communities.
Lord told Hampton Falls selectmen on Wednesday he met with fire chiefs from the town’s three larger bordering communities.
Unlike Hampton Falls Fire Department, which is a call department, Exeter, Hampton and Seabrook run full-time, 24/7 fire/rescue departments with emergency medical technician-level, advanced emergency medical technician-level, and paramedic-level staff available on most shifts.
