Hazy Sky Due to Wildfire Smoke

The sky over New Hampshire is hazy due to wildfires in western states and in Canada.

The fires create large plumes that drift to the high levels of the atmosphere and push in the direction of upper-level winds.

For the next few days noticeable haze will be over the area for the first time this summer.
