NH DOJ Asking For Scam Texts To Be Reported

Both the New Hampshire Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission are asking for help from residents.

Those agencies want people to report any fake text messages they receive that appear to be from E-ZPass claiming they have an unpaid toll.

Those messages have been appearing for months, and the hope is that data gathered from any reports can be used to potentially disrupt the ongoing scam.

E-ZPass will never text anyone about money they owe.
