Hearing in Concord on Assisted Suicide Bill
A hearing is taking place in Concord Wednesday where lawmakers will talk about an assisted suicide bill.
Legislation would create a procedure for medically assisted suicide for certain people who are facing terminal illnesses.
Individuals would have to attest they are of sound mind and administer any prescribed medication to themselves.
Those against the bill say it’d normalize suicide and that the state should push more resources towards palliative care.
