High Tide Caused Roads in Hampton Beach to Flood
A high tide created pockets of flooding along the Seacoast Sunday afternoon.
The National Weather Service issued a Coastal Flood Warning until 3 p.m. Sunday.
Moderate coastal flooding was expected along Route 1A and Ocean Boulevard in Hampton and Seabrook with Sunday’s high tide.
Just before 11 a.m. on Sunday, North Hampton Fire & Rescue said Route 1A was closed because of flooding,
Hampton police shut down access to Hampton Beach a short time later.
