Hiker To Pay For Cost Of Rescue

A 23-year-old hiker is getting billed for the cost of his rescue.
Jayson Choy of East Hampstead, was above the tree line on the Franconia Ridge Trail near the summit of Little Haystack in Lincoln when he called for help around six p.m. Sunday.
New Hampshire Fish and Game said Choy admitted he was not prepared as the temperature started dropping and a storm system moved in.
Conservation officers located him a couple of hours later and helped him down the trail to the parking lot.
