Historic Building in Portsmouth Demolished

The historic 1850 Daily Times building in downtown Portsmouth is now just a memory.
Crews began demolition Monday night and by Wednesday morning a pile of debris was all that was left.
The building had been vacant since it was badly damaged by a fire in 2017.
The property owner reportedly has plans for a four-story mixed-use building on the site.
