Hooksett Family Faces Animal-Cruelty Charges
Three suspects are facing animal-cruelty charges after more than a dozen dogs were found in deplorable conditions inside a Hooksett home on Tuesday.
Police say 48-year-old Billy Towne, 45-year-old Jennifer Liles and 24-year-old Patrick Liles turned themselves in two days later.
Investigators dispatched to home say seven feces-covered puppies were crammed into a single crate, along with four juvenile dogs confined in similar conditions and four fully grown dogs running loose inside the home.
All the animals showed signs of various health issues.
The suspects reportedly posted bail and are scheduled to appear in court next month.
