Hooksett’s New Tower May Improve Coverage in Bow
Hooksett’s plan to replace their emergency radio tower with one integrated with a cell tower could potentially improve cell coverage for certain residents in Bow.
The emergency radio tower located at 98 South Bow Road, which houses emergency services for Hooksett’s police and fire, and for State Police, has been found structurally unsound, according to a study conducted in 2021.
While Hooksett’s tower is in the works, Rising Tide Tower’s 190-foot cell tower in Bow on Branch Londonderry Turnpike should be installed in May.
The tower will have both AT&T and Verizon and it is expected to start providing coverage in September to some areas in Bow.
