House Rejects Ban On Vaccination Mandate

A bill to eliminate vaccination mandates for children entering public schools or day care settings is rejected in the state House of Representatives.
Under current law, a parent can ask for their children to be exempt from those shots.
Supporters of the legislation say it was not anti-vaccine, they just wanted to give parents the choice to have their children unvaccinated.
The House has other measures on vaccinations it’ll deal with in the days ahead.
