I-95 Bridge in Portsmouth Closed in Both Directions

The bridge that carries Interstate 95 over the Piscataqua River was shut down early this morning

 Motorists traveling north and southbound on I-95 and the Maine Turnpike are being advised of heavy traffic between the  New Hampshire line and Exit 7 in York. Please use caution and stay alert while traveling through this area.

Due to an incident on the high-rise bridge between Maine and New Hampshire on I-95 it is currently closed to both north and southbound travelers.

Police have not given any details about that incident .
