Increased Security At Menorah Lighting In Concord

NH State police provided added security last night at the lighting of a 13-foot menorah in Concord.

Troopers ringed the perimeter of the State House in the aftermath of a mass shooting earlier in the day at a Hanukkah event in Australia that left at least 15 people dead and several others wounded.

Attendees at the lighting said they appreciated the elevated security so they could celebrate the start of the holiday with peace of mind.
